Goodreads has determined the winners of my Ruined by Rumor giveaway. There were 881 entries and ten winners– eight in the United States, one in Canada, and one in the United Kingdom. I’m so excited–I just learned from my publisher that my first regency, Ruined by Rumor, is going to be available in print! The book will go on sale June 2nd as a trade paperback. If you know any regency romance fans who prefer traditional paperbacks to e-books, please spread the word. The more successful the format is, the more likely Carina Press will be to offer more regencies in print.

I just learned yesterday that Ruined by Rumor has been translated into an Italian edition, called Scandali e Altri Rimedi (Scandals and Other Remedies*). One of the tags is “matrimonio riparatore,” which is apparently Italian for “shotgun wedding.”

*P.S. – I recently learned that a better English translation might be “Scandals and Other Drugs.” Apologies to my Italian friends for knowing so little about their very musical language.
