What a nice way to start off 2015. Two different reviewers at Romantic Historical Reviews, Jill and Lady Wesley, both picked An Heir of Uncertainty as one of their favorite books of 2014.

I also have an official title for my next regency: The Marriage Act.

When John, Viscount Welford, proposed at the age of twenty-six to the only daughter of the Bishop of Essex, he thought he knew exactly what he was getting—a lovely and warm-hearted bride, young and innocent but hardly a case of robbing the cradle. He had two excellent reasons to rush the wedding: the diplomatic post awaiting him in Vienna, and his own eagerness to marry the young lady of his dreams.

He never imagined that on their wedding night, his new bride would leave him for another man.

Caro Fleetwood had no thought of going through with the wedding when she accepted Lord Welford’s proposal. She simply wanted to make a certain dashing militia officer wish he’d asked her instead. Lord Welford was too old for her, and she scarcely knew him. But before she could muster the courage to confess her misguided impulse to her father, she was already walking down the aisle. Married to a near-stranger she didn’t love, what choice did she have except to run away once her new husband fell asleep? If only the furious and humiliated Lord Welford hadn’t caught up to her before she could reach her militia officer…

It should be out sometime in the second half of 2015. I’ll post more when I have a firm release date.

Happy New Year!

The Italian title of A Tryst With Trouble translates to “A Marquess in Charge” or “A Marquess Accused.”

I’ll be heading tomorrow to the Romance Writers of America conference in San Antonio, Texas. Before I go, though, I have a couple pieces of news.

First–and this is always fun for me–I just learned that A Tryst With Trouble now has an Italian translation: UN MARCHESE SOTTO ACCUSA (A Marquess in Charge). That’s the cover image to the left.

Second, I just learned this morning that the audiobook version of An Heir of Uncertainty has gone into production. I still don’t have a release date or know the identity of the narrator, but I’ll post more when I do.

Today Romantic Historical Reviews is taking a look at An Heir of Uncertainty. “For readers who enjoy more depth to their historical romances (in a similar vein to Mary Balogh), lovely prose, a clever mystery and well-researched plot, An Heir of Uncertainty is highly recommended.” (Thanks Jill!)

An Heir of Uncertainty

An Heir of Uncertainty is now available at Amazon and all major e-book retailers.

I’m so excited–it’s release day for my newest regency, An Heir of Uncertainty!

A mystery wrapped in a romance, it’s the story of the two possible claimaints for a title and the dazzling fortune that comes with it: Colonel Win Vaughan, distant cousin to the late Earl of Radbourne, and the child that Lina, the earl’s young widow, is carrying. Only one  can inherit, so when danger begins to swirl around Lina and her unborn child, can she possibly trust Win?

You can order An Heir of Uncertainty here. I hope you enjoy it!

RT Reviews AN HEIR OF UNCERTAINTY

by on Jan.22, 2014, under Author news, Reviews

I just received my first review for An Heir of Uncertainty, my upcoming (March 10) release. Romantic Times Reviews gives the book four stars and calls it “a mystery rolled into a love story that is both exciting and tender.” They also single out one of the secondary characters, Freddie, calling him a “standout.” Thanks, RT!
