Another regency on the way (eventually)

by on Aug.05, 2014, under Author news

1815 portrait of Count Sergey Uvarov

Portrait of Count Sergey Uvarov, by Orest Kiprensky (1815). This portrait was painted in the year my next story opens.

I just found out today that Carina Press is interested in publishing my next regency, a “reigniting the marriage” story about a couple who’ve been estranged for five years, ever since the bride ran away on their wedding night.

Now comes the hard part–I have to finish the manuscript.

I’ll post more when I have information on the release date.

A contest and a blog post

by on Mar.11, 2014, under Blog posts

Today I’m at the CarinaPress.com site, blogging about why I gave my 1820s hero a brother on the autism spectrum. If you visit the blog and leave a comment, you’ll be entered to win a copy of An Heir of Uncertainty. You can enter up until 9 a.m. Eastern time on March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day), when I’ll announce the winner here and on the Carina blog. If you win the contest but you’ve already bought a copy of  An Heir of Uncertainty (in which case, thank you!) I’ll be happy to send it as a gift to the recipient of your choice.

Star crossed love

by on Nov.19, 2011, under Author news

Two pieces of news to share.

First, I have a projected release date now for my second regency, Ruined by Rumor, the marriage of convenience story Carina Press plans to publish. It should go on sale May 21, 2012.

Second, I’m blogging today at Romancing the Past about a case of star crossed love in the regency, featuring William Makepeace Thackeray’s ruthlessly manipulative grandmother.
