No, I haven’t been granted a title like “baroness in her own right.” The latest word from my editor is that, at least for now, my May release from Carina Press will be keeping it’s original title: Ruined by Rumor.

I’m blogging today at Romancing the Past about the differences between doctors, surgeons, and apothecaries, the three major medical professionals at work during the regency.
Please stop by and leave a comment about whether you’d still be alive today if you had to rely on the same medical science our regency ancestors did.
Now that the deal is finalized, I’m thrilled to announce that Harlequin’s digital imprint, Carina Press, will be releasing my second regency in May of 2012. The book title may change, but expect a love triangle/marriage of convenience story in which a shy, serious politician winds up married to the vivacious beauty he’s been secretly in love with for years, even though they both know she loves another man.

A Tryst With Trouble is now available for pre-order at Amazon, at least in paperback and audiobook formats. The widget to the right will take you directly to Amazon, and I’ve also made the book title a hyperlink.
It’s eligible for Amazon Prime! Now, is it possible to hypnotize readers through a blog post? “You feel an overpowering urge to buy my book…”
