Today Romantic Historical Reviews is taking a look at An Heir of Uncertainty. “For readers who enjoy more depth to their historical romances (in a similar vein to Mary Balogh), lovely prose, a clever mystery and well-researched plot, An Heir of Uncertainty is highly recommended.” (Thanks Jill!)
And the winner of my Carina Press blog contest to win a free copy of An Heir of Uncertainty is…Justine! Justine, if you’ll contact me to let me know your e-mail address, I’ll be happy to send you your prize. You can reply here on my website, on the Carina Press blog, or by tweeting me @Alyssa_Everett.
The Romanceaholic review site posted a review of Lord of Secrets today, calling it “Wonderfully, beautifully done.” To read the entire review, click here.
Also, congratulations to both winners of my giveaways. Veronika won the Carina Press blog giveaway, and Missy won the Ex Libris giveaway. Both received a gift card and a copy of Lord of Secrets. I hope both of you enjoy the story, ladies!
(If you’re not a professional reader, you can still pre-order Lord of Secrets here.)
Another review that made my day, though it’s for the book that’s in limbo due to Dorchester’s financial problems. A Tryst With Trouble received Five Angels and a Recommended Read from Fallen Angel Reviews. Click the blog name to read the full review. Thanks for reading, Michelle!
I’m back from the Chicago conference, and thrilled to find a review of Ruined by Rumor on Love Saves the World–which, by the way, is probably my all-time favorite name for a romance review site. I hope someday I get to meet the reader/reviewer/blogmistress, Tin, because she gives the most thoughtful and detailed reviews, and I want to print and frame the one she gave Ruined by Rumor. Her final verdict? “I really, really, really enjoyed reading this book — and I enjoyed being transported to Everett’s Derbyshire.” Click here to read the full review.
Ruined by Rumor received its first blog review, from Judy of Just Judy’s Jumbles. Click here to read her review (spoiler alert: she likes the book!).
How cool! Today, Manga Maniac cafe is featuring the cover of Ruined by Rumor. Check it out here.
I’m at Romancing the Past today, blogging about the beautiful Maid of Buttermere, the real-life regency victim of a heartless seducer. Click here to learn why her husband wasn’t really her husband.
And the debut of Ruined by Rumor is only a month away. It’s one of two regencies Carina Press will be releasing May 21, along with Elyse Mady’s The White Swan Affair. Carina is currently featuring Elyse’s book cover on its Facebook page as part of its Cover Thursdays.
Update: Carina is featuring my cover on their Facebook page today. Click here to have a look. Let’s hear it for Cover #2!
